We're delighted to announce the launch of a new online Men’s Health hub, which provides a range of support on male physical and mental health topics.
Aimed at men of all ages, the hub provides a one-stop resource offering useful information and advice on a wealth of subjects, from sexual health and looking after your heart to body image and joint pain.
Our Consultant Urological Surgeon, Mr Steve Garnett, said: "With men 32% less likely than women to visit the doctor*, reliable online health resources can be an important catalyst for men to seek help sooner rather than later. We’ve created the Men’s Health hub to put men in control of their overall health and wellbeing."
Welcome to our men's health hub
Consultant Urological Surgeon, Mr Steve Garnett, talks about the importance of good health to men of all ages as well as what to expect from our male health hub.
Welcome to the male health hub. Here you'll find plenty of easy to access resources about men's health. Whatever your age, the purpose of the male health hub is to put you in control of your health by providing easy to access information on key areas of physical and mental well being for men. Men's health is an important topic and is something that isn't really talked about by men. We want to provide as much information as possible on key topics that affect you every day.
At Benenden Hospital, our urology experts can diagnose a range of male health issues including urinary tract and reproductive conditions. We offer a wide range of urology treatments for conditions including prostate enlargement or BPH, urinary incontinence and testicular lumps and bumps. If you're looking for advice on health issues that are affecting you or a loved one, our male health hub can point you in the right direction. This may be to your GP or the nurse practitioner in your GP practice, or you can make an appointment to see our private GPs or our experienced urology and incontinence care team.
