The straightforward online platform, provided by SimplyBook, has been designed with the user in mind and makes it easy to book, manage and pay for an appointment through our website. Payment is taken via Stripe, a leading payment platform, and the appointment is confirmed immediately - so there’s no need to wait until office hours.
Users can view our GPs’ specialties, their availability and then choose an appointment date and time to suit – even on the same day and (subject to availability).

My son actually booked the appointment for me because he was so concerned about me. He went online and looked for GP appointments, and this one came up and luckily it was the same day as he rang. So I came straight over here on that day. He was really, really nice. He called us in and then stood up as we came in and spoke to us. He just sort of said, "You found us all right?" and was just generally putting you at ease.
Then he examined me and he actually said to me, "You're very poorly," and made me feel better to be perfectly honest because I was feeling so ill that I thought I was making it up almost because it was ridiculous and had gone on for so long. Yes, very much so, he sat and chatted to us and sort of went through everything I'd had and how I felt. And he actually said to me, "What do you want to come from today's appointment?" And I said, "Just to feel well," and he was just so kind. That was really 99% of it. The fact that he was going to give me something for the problem was ok, but he was just so kind.
He wrote me a prescription for penicillin, which I had made up here at the Pharmacy, and I took those for ten days. Well, we came in, it was like a five-star hotel to be perfectly honest. And I love the way that everybody told you exactly where we had to go. And he came up on the little screen and said, "Jill Humphreys to room ten," or whatever room it was. And he was actually there at the door waiting for us to come in. So it was all easy.
Well, I'm fine now, really. I would say I was 99% and it's just peripheral feeling a bit tired, I suppose sometimes, but I don't think it's necessarily anything to do with that. It has taken a while to get over, definitely. But had I not come here, goodness knows how much longer I'd have been ill. Yes, I would definitely use it again because it was so easy. I was lucky, admittedly, that I managed to get the day that I rang up to get the appointment. But even so, it was calm, it was easy to use. I booked at the time and came at the time that suited me. He was exceedingly nice and just put me at ease and the whole thing was a nice experience.
What’s included in a private GP appointment?
Our expert male and female GPs can discuss any concerns you have about your health with you. For £100, you’ll have 25 minutes with your GP, who will take the time to thoroughly discuss your health concerns. They’ll also arrange any tests, scans or follow-up appointments and discuss the costs with you. Our Pharmacy is also available if you need to fill a prescription.
In addition to an appointment with the GP, your appointment may also include:
- Writing a private prescription
- Providing a referral to a Consultant
- Recommending and referring you for additional tests, scans or x-rays
