Primary school pupils now know how to clean their hands properly, following a visit by Benenden Hospital.
Staff member Sacha Walczak, who works in the Hospital’s Outpatient department and for the Housekeeping team, carried out a hand hygiene session with pupils at Rolvenden Primary School, stressing the importance of washing hands thoroughly.
Sacha took one of the Hospital's special UV lamps with her and a gel which shows germs that have been missed if hands have not been washed properly.
Pupils and teachers found the session informative and fun.
