Benenden Hospital has entered a photo competition run by the Royal College of Nursing and the Royal Photographic Society.
The competition is running nationwide to mark 100 years of the RCN being the voice of nursing.
The RCN said that its Care on Camera competition aims to capture “innovation and diversity” of the modern day nursing profession.
The RCN is asking people to record nursing life as it happens in its many diverse settings.
The winners will be announced at the RCN’s annual congress in June with the 50 shortlisted entries then forming a touring exhibition, which will travel through schools, libraries and various health settings around the country.
The collection will ultimately become part of the RCN archive, providing a historical record of nursing in the 21st century.
The competition closes for entries on 29 February 2016. Winners will be chosen by a judging panel that includes actress Tamzin Outhwaite.
