A team from Benenden Hospital successfully completed the annual London to Canterbury bike ride.
The ride is 63.5 miles and raises funds for The Children’s Trust, for children with brain injury. It finished near to Canterbury Cathedral.
The team included Human Resources Manager Michelle Anderson, Technical Engineer Derek Rose, Continence Care Nurse Mary Barker, Radiographer Paul Collier and Mandy Crane and Annabel Waters from the Hospital Catering team.
The Hospital riders completed the route in five hours and 32 minutes. Their average speed was 11.3 miles per hour, with four stops and during the ride they climbed 3,044 ft.
