About Mr Garnett
I trained originally in London (St Bartholomew’s Hospital) and went on to specialist training in Bristol, Edinburgh and Oxford.
I was appointed Consultant Urologist in Eastbourne and Hastings in 2008 and became the cancer lead for East Sussex Urology in 2009. I have been the Clinical Lead for urology in East Sussex since 2012. I undertook research into bladder dysfunction and offer consultations to general urology patients and uro-oncology patients.
I have a long track record of innovation and leading improvements for urology patients and have written both the East Sussex prostate cancer patient pathway and also the East Sussex lower urinary tract symptom pathway. In 2015, I performed the first Da Vinci Robotic prostatectomy in Sussex. I've also introduced Green Light Laser Surgery into East Sussex and the UroLift Procedure and MRI fusion biopsies.
