About Mr Jones
I graduated in 2009 from Imperial College School of Medicine in London. I completed my higher surgical training in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex region before gaining international experience in Brisbane Australia, where I undertook a fellowship with World renowned surgeons in knee surgery, including the management of sports injuries in the professional athlete and computer assisted knee replacement.
I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Trust in 2021, sub-specialising in knee surgery. I perform total and unicompartmental knee replacements and all aspects of sports knee injury management including ligament reconstruction and arthroscopic procedures including meniscal repairs and knee preservation surgery.
I am a member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, with commitment to teaching and I am a faculty member of the Advanced Trauma Life Support Course. I am also a member of the BOA, BASK and the South East Thames Knee Study Group.
I’m married with three children. I’m also a keen sportsman having completed a local Olympic distance triathlon as well as the Goldcoast and the London marathons.
