About Mr Stapleton
Qualifying from the University of Brighton in 2005 during its period as the UK's Centre of Excellence in Podiatry, I was one of the first six podiatrists nationwide to earn the coveted PGcert in Podiatric Sports Medicine from Queen Mary University in London. I also hold PGdip in Theory of Podiatric Surgery from Glasgow Caledonian University.
I am an extended scope Podiatrist which includes Prescription only Medicine, Corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid and platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection therapy, shock wave therapy, nail and minor skin surgery and ultrasound imaging, with special interest in biomechanics and gait analysis.
I have been honoured to be invited to speak at national conferences, including the Elevate Sports at Excel London, Podiatric Sports Medicine Conference, chaired the Podiatric Sports Medicine Tract of the College of Podiatry National Conference and have published expert opinion articles in various sports magazines.
I believe in patient-centred care integrated into a multidisciplinary team for best outcomes. With a friendly, approachable nature I ensure my patients receive individual care and understand their medical conditions and the treatment pathway.
My audits through the PASCOM10 tool show very good treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Outside of Podiatry, I have a keen interest in sport, including cricket, football and weightlifting.
