About Mr Conor Lane
Mr Lane studied optometry at City University, London and gained his professional qualification in 2008. Since then, Mr Lane has worked in a variety of high street, independent and hospital environments throughout London and Kent.
Mr Lane has undertaken specialist qualifications including independent prescribing which grants him therapeutic prescribing rights. Mr Lane obtained further qualifications in glaucoma and medical retina.
At Benenden Hospital, Mr Lane works alongside the ophthalmology Consultants as a Specialist Refractive Optometrist helping to deliver the special lens service which involves multifocal intraocular lenses and astigmatism correcting intraocular lenses.
Outside of work, Mr Lane lives with his wife and their cat in London and in his spare time, he plays the guitar.
