About Mr Ong
I trained at Cambridge and Oxford, graduating with a medical degree from Oxford.
Following this I then trained in the North London Ophthalmology training programme and at world-renowned institutes such as Moorfields and Western Eye Hospitals in London, and a placement at John Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute.
I am fellowship trained in retinal diseases and cataract surgery. I strive to provide the best possible level of care and outcomes for my patients and am very keen to share my expertise.
In addition to the services I provide at Benenden Hospital, I also work for the NHS as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.
I am married with two children who keep me busy!
