Treatment to remove an ingrowing toenail which can be painful and may become infected if not treated appropriately.

Pilonidal sinus surgery

A pilonidal sinus is a small hole or infected tract under the skin at the top of the buttocks. If it keeps becoming infected, you may need surgery to remove it and prevent further infections.

About Mr Hamade

I am a consultant surgeon and undertook rigorous training in general, laparoscopic and colorectal surgery in the well-known training hospitals in London and the South East of England.

Interested in all aspects of general and colorectal surgery, I perform most of my operations laparoscopically, unless there is a contraindication. I also carry out anal and perianal surgery.

It is important to me that my patients are fully informed and involved with all aspects of their treatment.

In addition to the services I provide at Benenden Hospital, I also work with the NHS and am a Consultant Surgeon at the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.

I am very keen on education and supporting young doctors and am a trainer at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a GMC recognised trainer.
