About Mr Macfarlane
I am a very experienced Consultant Podiatric Surgeon, with extensive clinical experience in treating foot conditions, offering surgery and conservative care.
My particular interest is in forefoot pain and corrective bunion surgery, and have undertaken more than 6,000 surgical procedures of the foot with excellent clinical and patient satisfaction outcomes.
I regularly provide lectures and training to other foot and ankle specialists at local and national conferences/seminars.
In addition to my role at Benenden Hospital, I currently hold Consultant Podiatric Surgeon posts at Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith and Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup, where I'm also Clinical Lead for the podiatric surgery service.
I enjoy keeping fit and have a keen interest in all sports, particularly cycling, cricket, golf and walking.
