About Mr Sweeney
I qualified from University College Dublin in 1992 and was appointed a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in 2002. My NHS appointments were to Lewisham, Bromley and Guy's and St Thomas' Trusts.
In 2004, I introduced Endovenous Laser Treatment (EVLT or laser vein surgery) to the NHS and privately in London and Kent and have performed over 10,000 minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins.
At Benenden Hospital, I perform a largest number of laser vein treatments per year in the UK, providing safe and effective treatment for my patients' vein problems.
