About Jordan Dehara
In 2017, I gained a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy from the European School of Physiotherapy, Amsterdam. While in Amsterdam, I gained experience working with the Dutch under 21’s national rugby and basketball teams. I was also the Physiotherapist at the Amsterdam rugby club, wheelchair rugby club, football team and swimming teams. During one of my placements, I worked alongside the Maltese Olympic Team to assist with the rehabilitation of elite level athletes.
After receiving HCPC registration, I completed my Physiotherapy rotations at the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford. I worked in a variety of fields as a junior Physiotherapist including ITU, medicine, cardiology, respiratory, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal (MSK).
Two years into my career, I specialised as a Senior Physiotherapist in MSK, managing a complex caseload of acute injuries, chronic conditions and post-operative rehabilitation. I lead a variety of classes in the gym and the hydrotherapy pool at the hospital. My caseload was spread across the hospital setting and several GP practices in the local area.
I started working as Senior Physiotherapist at Benenden Hospital in 2019 before progressing to Physiotherapy Lead in May 2020.
