About Dr Galiatsatos
Completing my medical degree at the University of Szeged, Hungary in 2000, I subsequently served as a medical officer in the Greek army for one year. I continued my training as a foundation doctor at the haemodialysis/renal unit in Livadia General Hospital, Greece.
Whilst waiting to start my radiology training, I worked for two years in a CT/MRI private diagnostic centre in Athens.
I completed my radiology training at the Oncology Hospital of Athens in 2012, along with one year at the Red Cross Hospital in Athens.
I have published several research papers in peer reviewed publications.
In June 2013 I moved to the United Kingdom where I have been working ever since.
In addition to the services I provide at Benenden Hospital, I also work with the NHS as a Consultant Radiologist with the East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
Away from work, I like listening to music, playing basketball and football with my son. When I get the chance I like to go sailing for a day or two. I love travelling with my family and seeing new places.
