About Dr Maiden
I trained at University College and Middlesex School of Medicine, London, gaining a BSc in Anatomy and Basic Medical Sciences before graduating as a doctor in 1993.
Completing my general medical training in Poole, Dorset, I returned to London and South East Thames to complete my specialist training at the Kent & Sussex, Guy's & St Thomas' and King's College Hospitals.
In addition to my work at Benenden Hospital, I am the Chief of Medicine and Emergency Care and a senior consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and an accredited colonoscopist on the National Bowel Cancer Screen Programme.
I am the lead for the Gastroenterology service at Benenden Hospital and I offer a patient-centred approach to investigation and management of abdominal symptoms.
