About Dr Sharma
I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist providing management of general gastroenterology conditions such as acid reflux, IBS, IBD, chronic liver diseases and chronic pancreatitis.
After graduating from Bangalore University in India, I undertook further training before entering into specialist training in gastroenterology in 2007. In 2010 I subsequently completed two years of sub specialisation at the Royal Free Hospital Liver Institute in London and the University College of London.
Education is very important to me and I am a GMC recognised trainer.
In addition to the gastroscopy services I provide at Benenden Hospital, I also work with the NHS at the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and General Physician based at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
