About Dr Chatterjee
I trained in cardiology in India to consultant level. I moved to the UK in 2003 and trained further in Bournemouth, Leicester and in and around London. I have an MSc in clinical research and am interested in clinical research and teaching.
Since 2011, I've been a Consultant in the NHS. I have managed Cardiology departments and worked in Specialist Medicine as a speciality lead and clinical director in the NHS. I also teach medical trainees and students.
I am a fellow of Royal College of Physician, London and member of British Medical Association (BMA), British Cardiac Society (BCS), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) and Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) of USA.
I look after all kinds of general cardiology patients. My special interest is heart rhythm disorders and complex device (resynchronisation pacemakers and defibrillators) implantation.
