Once we've received your application, we'll contact you to arrange to meet and discuss your aspirations.
Your health and wellbeing is important to us and once you have decided where you would like to volunteer, we will ask you to complete a health questionnaire. This is confidential and will only be viewed by our occupational health team.
We will also follow up on the references that you have supplied, and we will apply for a DBS check, the cost of which will be borne by the hospital. All our volunteer opportunities are subject to a satisfactory Standard or Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service, evidence of an applicant’s Right to Work in the UK and acceptable reference checks.
Once your satisfactory checks are received, Claire will contact you again to arrange for you to come into the hospital for an induction and to discuss any training you require.
