I am very proud to have been a registered Nurse for the past 27 years. I commenced my career as an NHS nurse whereby I gained invaluable acute clinical experience before moving over to the independent sector in 2000.
I have held various clinical, governance and senior operational/managerial roles. More recently I have been a Quality Improvement Manager with Medical Imaging Partnership enhancing the clinical governance framework and achieving the UKAS 2021 Quality Standard for Imaging.
I have a strong background in governance, risk management, project management and operational delivery of hospital activities and foster a culture of being open and lifelong learning. I strive for operational efficiency, and I am values and standards driven.
My first experience of Benenden Hospital is when I attended a Quality Local Intelligence meeting a few years ago at the Quinlan Centre where my lasting impression of the Senior Management Team, the staff, hospital and facilities was of the overwhelming excellence and dedication for delivering outstanding care. I am delighted to be able to join and be part of the Hospital Executive.
Outside of work I enjoy been taken for long walks by my dog, travel whenever possible and watching a good film.
