I first joined Benenden Hospital as Director of Patient Services in May 2010 and was appointed as Hospital Director in April 2024.
I have a very strong commitment to teamwork and ensuring high quality, safe care and an excellent patient experience.
Prior to joining Benenden Hospital, I was Clinical Team Manager of Therapy Services at Greenwich in addition to holding the position of Chair of the Professional Executive Committee for NHS Greenwich. I had worked at Greenwich since 1997 and worked closely with teams to redesign services, improving access and quality. Before this, I completed my physiotherapy training at Queen’s College, Glasgow, before starting my career as a physiotherapist in Kent, working across Kent & Sussex Hospital, Pembury Hospital, and the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.
I oversee the delivery of the hospital’s day-to-day operational activity and implement the hospital’s strategy, as well as being a member of the Society Executive, focusing on delivering the Society’s business plan and corporate strategy, including HR strategy, corporate services, regulatory liaison, commissioning, and funding.
Our 2028 Vision is to be the South East’s leading private hospital, renowned for excellence, and I am privileged to be working with such a talented and dedicated team in the delivery of that vision.
