I have over 20 years’ experience in the NHS as a Chief Executive Officer in both commissioning and challenging hospital settings. Having led turnarounds for three hospital Trusts along with other key stakeholders and partners in health and care systems, I have an in-depth understanding of the workings of the NHS and health and care policy.

My business skills include strategic planning, corporate and clinical governance, NHS Commissioning, service provision and service improvement.

I was first elected to the Board of Governors of the hospital in June 2019 and my other Board and Committee memberships include serving as Chairman of Benenden Charitable Trust and on the Group Remuneration Committee.
